HeroesofHorology.com was established in 2025 to honor the memory of Charles O Terwilliger, Jr 37 years after his passing and to fulfill the dream of his son, Robert Terwilliger, who wished for the biography he authored to continue on after he himself passed away.

Areas of this site that have been added to or edited in whole or part will be designated as being the work of “the editor” or the image of a sundial will be present.

This site is sponsored, edited and maintained by myself, the owner of FlipClockFans.com and Flip Clock Fans YouTube channel, Mike “Mackey” Hensley (to be known as “the editor” on this site). Charles Terwilliger would be someone that I would enjoy to have known. While I never got the opportunity to meet him, I did speak to his son, Robert on the phone when gathering information for a YouTube Video. “Twig” as he was called by his friends, asked if I would be able to make sure that the information he had worked on so hard, would live on.

This site is not associated in anyway with National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors (NAWCC). However, Charles Terwilliger was a huge supporter and advocate for the NAWCC. Become a Member!
